Tuesday Toddler!

One of my new features I'm adding to my blog is called Tuesday toddler! Kinda has a ring to it since Peyton is now an active toddler.  It's so crazy how time flies and I know a lot of parents say that, but no seriously!

Here she is eating away, always smilin! Hence the food on her mouth.  Lol

She's always everywhere! Right now she's walking across the couch back and forth eating candy I just gave her, an activity that freaks me out, the walking across the couch part but she safe and who am I kidding, she's in that indepence stage.

Here she is with her dada. Her activity level is out of this world even though she is a pretty chill baby. Odd comparison I know. Despite all this she is an easy baby.  With me being a working mom, it can get hard sometimes, but being a parent and seeing her new experiences everyday out weighs the tiredness. 

We try to take her to a park at every chance she gets so that she can explore and see the world through her little eyes.

At first, we were that kind of couple who never planned on having kids, but when we decided, we got this beautiful amazing little girl and I'm so glad we tried.  It took us about two years of trying, but it was worth it! 

Anywho, this was just an intro to my amazing little 19 month old! And I'll bring you more about here on next weeks Tuesday toddler! Also check out my YouTube that will correspond with this. A new video will be up Tuesday!

Totes and tots!

I use to despise tote bags.

A little harsh I know. But I use to think they looked like carrying grocery store bags. Lol but ever since I had a child, comfort seems more ideal to me.  So therefore, I am on the hunt for the cutest tote bag. Believe it or not, I think they are really really cute now.

My absolute fave is this one:

Now I'll be honest, I'm not the happiest of people, we'll I am, but usually I wouldn't carry "horray" around on my arm, it's like an invitation for people to talk to me. Harsh again, but if you're from the south born and raised like I am, that's an open invitation for "oh geeze! Enough talking!" 

You'd have to live in the south to understand. I promise. That's why I always say I could live up north. Lol

I plan to order the first one. I first saw it on Noami from Rockstar Diaries. Of course she made it look adorable as usual! As well as anything she puts on! If you haven't been to her blog, then you live under a rock. :)

As far as the tots in the title.....it sounded cute and I've got a cute tot, so.  Summarize, I'm not giving up my handbags, just into to totes.  Now for some cuteness. She had no clue this was on her head.

A little summer structure!

Hello!

Yeah as the title says, a little structure is needed and not just for summer! For years, my blog has been about whatever I want and that will continue, but it needs a little spice of something. So I've decided to talk more about certain subjects like mommy hood, diy projects, more to what's going on in my life. Let's face it, I'm a working mom, so I need more fuel and more time to try all these Pinterest saves, so you'll see it all here plus more vids on my YouTube channel. Anywho......it's past spring, but a little cleaning is in order. Actually, I think it might still be spring, I don't know. I can't even remember what day it is half the time. Shame.

It's 1am, so I'll go ahead and say Happy Memoral Day!

My top 5 ways I wear my hair for the summer!

Milkmaid braid

This is a major fave of mind all year around, but especially cooling in the summer.

The side braid should be a staple for anyone if you know how to do it and especially a fishtail braid!

Messy should always be an option and in beach waves.

My hair is always in my face partly cause I want it to be, but here's how to keep it out.

Side ponytail and high ponytails are so easy to do! Especially if you're a mom who's always in an hurry!

Lastly one for exta credit, a top knot. The messier the better! I just really figured a way to do this properly so it's a huge fave now! That was like 7, but you get my drift! If you want tutorials on how I do it, let me know!

Summer time

That thought is really scary!

Why you ask? Cause summer is panic time for me. 

I never know what to wear, it's too hot and above all sucky. This year I'm looking forward to it cause I'm taking the princess to disney world for the first time!! I can't wait to see her face!  

I know she's only one but I think she'll remember a lot.....here's hoping anyway.  Either way we will go again.

But, that's not the purpose of this, the purpose is trying to help me figure out summer clothes.  Ahead of time!!! 

Here's what I do like:

These are all from forever 21. I like things I can be really comfortable in and I love muscle tees and tights. Speaking of tights, this is a standard outfit for me. I could easily paste my head on top of hers. Lol

Last year I kinda got into jumpers once I found one that suited me. I really like this one.

I'm not really a shorts person unless they are really short and I know that sounds bad, but because my legs are so long, I'm 5'9, those are the best looking ones on me. I'll probably rotate the same ones I always do. I'm probably just going to live in outfits like above the jumper. 

Now Peyton. That's a different story.

Days off

I seriously feel like my days off and far and few between. 

I get them, but it feels like they don't exist. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. My daughter and I play and then it's over. If only I was a stay at home mom. 

I spend more time at work than at home. 

Bleh. Sorry for the vent, but it's not all about clothes, shoes and makeup.
